It's my dream

We are a new company, proudly established in 2025, inspired by a deep and enduring love for India. That love began in 2012 during our very first visit to this vibrant, culturally rich country. But it was a journey through Rajasthan in December 2024 that sparked a true vision: to bring the beauty and soul of Indian craftsmanship to homes across the UK.

Every piece we offer is ethically sourced, with a commitment to reinvesting in the communities that create them; empowering artisans, sustaining traditional skills, and ensuring that the cultural heritage of India continues to thrive. Our mission is simple: to share a touch of India’s artistry, heart and story with the world.

Indian Handcrafted Furniture

Jodhpur is renowned for its exceptional woodcraft, and during our visit, a simple conversation with the hotel owner led to an unforgettable experience. We mentioned our interest in seeing authentic woodwork, away from the usual market stalls, and were soon introduced to one of the region’s largest exporters.

From the moment we arrived, we were completely in awe. Each piece was a unique work of art, lovingly handcrafted with extraordinary skill and care. The warmth of our welcome from the owner and his team made the experience even more special.

All our furniture has been meticulously handpicked to showcase the incredible craftsmanship, skill, dedication, and passion that India has to offer, with each piece thoughtfully selected to highlight the rich cultural heritage and exceptional artistry of its makers. It seamlessly blends functionality with creativity, bringing you unique, beautiful furniture that not only enhances your space but also tells a story of timeless tradition, expert craftsmanship, and a deep commitment to preserving the artistry of the past while infusing it with modern elegance.

Soft furnishings

Jaisalmer is an incredible fort town. Our hotel was perched at the top, and as we walked up, we stopped for coffee and admired some beautiful bed covers displayed on a wall. That’s when we were introduced to PJ, the owner of the furnishings store, It had been his father's business, but after his father passed away unexpectedly, PJ took over. Though he didn’t have much business experience, he’s been working incredibly hard to make it a success.  PJ’s easy-going nature and genuine friendliness made it easy for us to connect and before long, a strong bond had formed. Now, we’re truly happy to be mentoring him - helping each other grow, and hopefully allowing both our businesses to flourish side by side.

All soft furnishings sourced from PJ are lovingly handmade by women in the villages surrounding Jaisalmer. They use recycled materials such as saris and wedding dresses, infusing each piece with cultural depth and uniqueness. By incorporating local patterns and designs into their work, these artisans further enhance the personal and cultural
significance of every item. This initiative empowers villagers to become self-reliant and promotes long-term sustainability.

"Lentil Man" Artist

Vijay Raj started practicing Fine Miniature Paintings in the 1980's.  He has mastered it to the extent that he can paint on a lentil in under a minute and this earned him the sobriquet “Lentil Man”. It’s incredible to witness this first-hand, truly mind-blowing to see such skill, dedication, and tradition.

Vijay Raj, who featured in the 2012 of Jodhpur Polo, provides lessons on all handmade art works, sketching, miniature painting and sketching free of cost.  The paintings are also made the women on his village to who he taught this art and 70% of his earnings are contributed to the betterment of the school and to these women artist.

He’s the complete package; true master of his craft, deeply humble and always true to his roots. Now, his son is proudly following in his footsteps, carrying the legacy forward with the same passion and integrity.

All paintings are the famous traditional art form of Indian miniature painting. These incredible pieces of art are created using natural gemstone pigments, applied with fine brushes made from squirrel tail hair. Meticulously rendered different mediums e.g. silk, vintage court-stamped paper, rice paper etc each piece reflects timeless craftsmanship and historical elegance.

Leather Bags from Jaisalmer

Our leather bag collection was born in a moment of serendipity - on my very last day in India. As the sun cast its golden glow over Jaisalmer, I stumbled upon a hidden gem; a bustling local workshop where artisans pour their heart and heritage into crafting the most exquisite leather bags. The air was filled with the scent of leather, the hum of creativity, and the quiet pride of skilled hands at work.

I was instantly captivated. The quality was impeccable, the textures irresistible, and the designs, so bold, so soulful where stories stitched in leather, waiting to be carried.

I brought a selection back with me, so you too can feel their magic. Run your fingers over the supple surface, take in the scent of craftsmanship, and picture it draped gracefully over your shoulder - an everyday piece with extraordinary origins.
